PayPal

The only designer in the room

In a big org, the teams closest to the business often get the least design support. For nearly five years at PayPal I was the go-to creative for those teams, the BNPL commercial team, partner marketing, and GTM functions that needed fast, polished work but didn’t have a designer of their own. Sales enablement decks, partner creative, launch campaigns, internal toolkits. Whatever they needed to move, I made it happen.

Paid social creative targeting prospective merchant partners. Designed to communicate PayPal’s value proposition quickly in a crowded feed, on-brand, fast to produce, and built to scale across placements.

Due to the confidential nature of some of this work, I’m only showing a portion here. I’m happy to walk through more during a conversation.

Design thinking, marketing speed

Without a traditional design team around me, I built trust by showing up prepared, speaking the language of the business, and delivering work that made the case for design on its own. Fast, clear, and always easy to understand for people who weren’t designers.

What good looks like without a playbook

The wins here aren’t measured in pixels, they’re measured in trust. I became the go-to creative voice for teams that didn’t have one, helping close deals, keep partners happy, and making sure what the business promised actually got delivered. My team knew that when they made a commitment, I’d back them up and get it done.

You don’t need a big design team. You need the right designer.

If you’re looking for someone to jump right in, ask the right questions, then get to work, let’s talk about what you’re building. No hand-holding, just thoughtful design delivered at the speed your business needs.
